The first picture is looking upstream from the bridge. the second is looking downstream, and the third is the park with hike and bike trail visible in the background. The water is not usually that muddy, but it rained today.
It's just a couple of blocks from our house. There's a really nice park, with playground, pavilion and duck pond a bit further downstream. I'll have to take some pictures over there soon.
This really is a pretty little town. It is suffering badly from sprawl, but then, that's endemic. This subdivision was the newest one when we first moved here in 1977. It was the first one put in after some sort of rules were laid down about whacking trees, etc.
The creek and trees are beautiful. I always fall in love with Texas again when we travel through the hill country.
