Two Point Five Calls A Day

OK, now you tell me. What grown man calls his mother 2.5 times a day?

Some of the phone records in the Michelle Young murder case have been released, and there are a million things in there that will make you say, "WOW!"

So, I'm just fixing on a little snippet that caught my eye. In the thirty day period leading up to Michelle's death, Jason Young called his mother on twenty-two. Of the 22 days, on several of them he only called her once, and one day he called her ten times.

But...on November 3rd, the day Michelle's body was discovered, he called his mom 28 times, before 2:00 PM.

If my grown son were calling me several times a day, I would worry. Especially if he had a wife and child.

I'm lucky to talk to my kids once or twice a week. A month, at times, will go by without a call from the one who is out of state. I figure he's busy...hell, I'm busy!

But, spread over a month, two point five calls a day seems like a whole lot of calls from a thirty-year-old to his mother.

Just sayin'.

  1. Good grief, 28 times?? She must be in the know....

I really don't think I could protect a child of mine who was guilty of such a vile act. Not sure though.

  2. The probable cause for this latest warrant is a gold mine of information, some of it vindicating the G's stance on this case.

I can hardly wait to see what they get from his more recent work computer. That's what this warrant is for.

I don't think I could defend my child.

  3. Casey Anthony's parents seem to know she is guilty. Well, as far as the latest info suggests.

Apparenly her father can't bear to think he has raised a daughter who is capable of killing her child.

Umm...he is well aware that she is prepared to push any situation as far as she can by lying, though.

  5. This is a little off-topic, but you call me "the one who is out of state"?

  6. No, actually. I call you Brendan.

Sometimes I refer to you as The One Who Is Out Of State.

Or, at least, I did when I wrote this.

Hey. Count your blessings. It could have been "my baby."
