I Made It To Barbara's!

Not as difficult as I expected. Barbara gives good directions.

Apart from some idiot in a Range Rover trying to kill me, I am in pretty good shape.

He ran me off the road! I know he could see me if he used his mirrors, but no...he had stuff piled halfway up the back windows, so he would have needed a mirror to find me, but he didn't bother. He just pulled on over, and it's a good thing there was a wide shoulder there, or I would have been history.

My hand still hurts from pounding on the horn as I blew past him at nearly 100 mph, cursing like an Australian sailor!

Anyway, after a good dinner, lots of dog slobber and a couple of glasses of wine, I'm much better now thank you very much!

Glad you're okay, Ronni, and that Brendan made it home safe and sound.

  5. Ronni:

Are you going home the same way you came East? Or are you off on a different route and different adventure?

Love roadtrips--hate some of the drivers you meet along the way--looks like you found one of them.

    Be safe.

  7. I am actually on my way home via a different route.

A couple of friends invited me to stop by (Barbara being one of them), so I decided to take a more western route home.
