"Scourge of the Interwebs"
It is amazing, at least to me, how hushed the battlegrounds are. It was almost overwhelming to think of the blood shed that day-the battle-as we stood there. It's been a long time but it has stayed with me. I hope you are well.
It's like a whisper. This is why history is so important.
That's exactly how I felt when I was here five years ago.
I just caught up with you on your trip! Your pictures are beautiful and even though I love the beach I long for the mountains sometimes. I love spending time in Asheville, Brevard, Black Mountain and all those beautiful places there is never enough time to do thoroughly. There is a certain peace that you don't find in a lot of places. The only other place that draws me that way is Taos, NM. That's where I want to be spread!....You heard it here!
You're taking some amazing pictures, Ronni. Thanks for sharing them with us.
WOW can't wait to hear if you go on a "ghost tour" ! lol I've seen those shows. Hope you get to do that! have fun!
