The end of the day
It was really lovely, being there so late. Never mind that it got dark by the time we got to the massive Pennsylvania monument, and we shall have to go back in the morning to get a picture of it. I wanted to be there in the quiet of twilight, and that's what we did.

ReplyDeleteI hope you and Brendan get to see the Electric map while you are in Gettysburg.
It's been years since I took my kids there to see it so hope they still have the map.
It was really enlightening (No pun intended) and one of my sons was so impressed by it he has been interested in the Civil War ever since.
I'm so glad you two are enjoying your trip.
