Well, the AC unit HAS been replaced--in 1989. So things are not as bad as I might think on that front. Also, it's not the whole unit that is broken, just the motor that runs the fan. Jimmy (Brendan's dad) is taking care of that for me. I was feeling faint at the amount he said an AC service would charge--$500, more or less. Then he told me it was a $70 part, and he could install it.
Did I mention that he is one of the White Hat Brigade?
Susan said you found the keys is that true. You are no more responsible for Jim's death than Chandra for Lewis's.
ReplyDeleteThats toxic thinking.
Love Betty
I believe it's the same age as the one I've been tweaking. The original with the house. Too cheap to spend the money to replace it. My utility bills would be cut in half if I did. But who has a few thousands laying around?
ReplyDeleteThat little voice (Dad from the depression era) squeak out every penny.
Honestly, is it worth it or saves me a dime? Doubtful.
Replace the POS.
Right now, until I know where I stand legally vis a vis Jim's Will, I must spend as little as possible.
ReplyDeleteI was guessing that she found the keys--I was just wondering where they were.
ReplyDeleteRemember Ronni--say that phrase I sent you 12 times while you are looking for the keys and they will show up.
