It rained so hard on the 4th of July that the fireworks were postponed. In a way, that's good, because I am trying to figure out how to get my pixelly-challenged camera to take pictures of them.
Georgetown did theirs last night, and Round Rock is supposed to do theirs on Friday. Of course it rained right before they were to go off, so the crowds were thin. I was wet halfway to my knees trying to get a look at the San Gabriel River, which is, indeed, out of its banks.
So here are my attempts from last night. Some of them.

ReplyDeleteThe river that runs through the park was several feet over its banks when we were there; I can imagine what it was like on the 4th!
