Gratitude and Awe

I am truly grateful for my new computer. It is a wondrous thing, which does everything it is supposed to do with speed and despatch. It clicks and hums along, with no wheezing and snargling that my old one used to exhibit when requested to do the simplest thing. Sites load with lightning speed, downloads don't take weeks, and uploads are a snap.

Thank you, Vanessa, for setting it all up for me!

What is greater than having the machine is the fact that people I've never met, or met only briefly, gave me this gift. Out of the blue. Without my asking. I had no idea that anything I've ever said or done could inspire such faith.

That's where the awe comes in.

Many thanks to all my friends, especially Loretta who spearheaded this awesome gift.

I will never forget your generosity.
