Here is a shot of me as Julia Leverett in "Lend Me A Tenor," and one of Ben Irene Fredericks as Gootch in "Auntie Mame." As soon as I get a shot of us in rehearsal in "Arsenic and Old Lace," I'll post that. Ben Irene is Abby Brewster, and I am Martha.
I have been in several plays with Ben Irene; "Auntie Mame," and "The Odd Couple, Female Version," to name a couple, but I've never been part of a duo with her. She is an absolutely terrific actress, with impeccable comic timing. Working so closely with her is an honour and a privilege. For all her talent and experience, she is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met.
This entire cast has the makings of a tight ensemble, and I am having so much fun! Of course, tomorrow we get serious, when we are supposed to be off book for Act I. I shall have to put some time into it tonight, so, enough of this--I must get to work!
