Theater Interior
These pictures were taken during the rehearsals for "Merry Wives of Windsor," and show a partially constructed set. Still, you can see our new revolve and our speakers, which I'm sure must be antiques by now. The fact that a show is in rehearsal explains all the stuff in the house. Those are our new seats, installed less than a year ago.
Considering that our first seats were metal folding chairs (bring your own pillow), and next, we had some slightly padded office chairs. After that, we got some real theater seats, years old, third- or fourth-hand, that we kept for a long time. By last season, they had "had the bun," as we used to say when I was a kid. I would hear patrons say,"Don't sit in the front row near the door. There's a seat there that's all wonky." Every time somebody shifted, we could hear them from backstage, creaking, squeaking and grinding. Many of these new seats have brass plaques on the back, naming patrons who contributed to the fund raiser.
It's tiny, but we love it. Not that we wouldn't love a larger space, but this is what we have. The house seats 50, more or less.

The comfy seating must make such a difference, Ronni. It looks good, too.
