Mine is about an inch and a quarter long now. I begin to realize why it has always been weird-looking. It grows in many different directions. The left side grows forward, and the right side grows back. The back grows straight down, and the top grows more-or-less forward, except for the crown, which stands straight up. Oh, and the front, where the right side sort of veers off to join the right side in its tendency toward the back. Not to mention this really strange cowlick.
Vanessa recommended gelling it up into spikes, but when I tried that, it stood up where it darn well pleased, and stuck out everywhere else. I eventually settled for squishing it over to the side.
