The Pajama Dilemma

Winter, in Texas, generally means that temperatures are in the 40's at night and the 60's during the day. Please note that I said, "generally."

Every so often, we get a "norther." A "norther" is a blast of Arctic wind that plunges us to temperatures that even Chicagoans would complain about. Very occasionally, we are treated to an ice storm, or snow.

Because of these infrequent blasts, winter clothing is a necessity. We may not get to wear it all that often, but it sure is nice to have.

That said, I'm here to tell you that the new microfleece fabrics are totally unsuited to the construction of pajamas. Pajamas for use here, anyway. In Wisconsin, maybe, but not here. Add to those a down comforter ("summer weight," but still), and it's enough to make you think you're having hot flashes again.

~sigh~

Back to oversized Tshirts for me, I guess.
