Nasty Rumour

I heard a nasty rumour today.

I heard that some people have told another member of the Sam Bass Theater Board of Directors that they have refused to work on projects if I am involved.

They say I'm difficult to work with! Me! Can you imagine?

"...unfortunately, being on the board several people have told me they would not come back to Sam Bass to work if you were involved in the project, due to the attitude you showed when dealing with them."

Is this the face of a person who is difficult to work with? I ask you!

Let's see...I chewed out one actor who dropped part of his costume on the floor--a part that I had spend a lot of time making...and then there was Emily, who insisted on wearing spandex and giraffe print in "Man of La Mancha," but I really can't think of anyone else that I have chewed out really badly. Oh. And there was the woman who turned out to be on the ACoT nominating committee, who caught hell for having a visible tattoo. Well, I guess that's why we didn't get any nominations last season.

And I always warn them. I do. I say, "This is Hell Week, and I will be a bitch. I wish to apologize in advance for any hurt feelings this may cause."

As far as I know, I have one more commitment this season; costuming "Sister Ignatious Explains it All to You," and "The Actor's Nightmare." Including a two person camel suit.

After that, I'm out of there. If my presence is preventing talent from working with us, it's time.

I replied to the person who sent me that email, promising to be a kinder, gentler Ronni, and take the ass-chewing behind people's backs, where, apparently, it belongs.

I am not a happy camper.
