A Pepper Sandwich

SSS had a grandmother. Grandma Cline lived somewhere in the vicinity to Gary IN and had a garden. Among other things, she grew banana peppers. It was sort of roulette, eating peppers at Grandma Cline's. Her peppers varied from cheerfully piquant to OHMYGOD, and they all looked alike.

We would cut them up, still warm from the sun, and eat them between two slices of buttered bread.

I had a fresh banana pepper today, and I made a sandwich.

Of such things is immortality made.
