Bluebonnet Plague

Yesterday, I passed a field of bluebonnets, and couldn't resist snapping a few shots. This field is out on Kiphen Road, which is now a four-lane boulevard, with only a few patches of bluebonnets. It used to be a two-lane country road, and the verges were covered with wild flowers. All the ones you see in the pictures, plus pink anemones and something white. I always wanted fabric printed with such colours.

  1. I LOVE it! Makes my eyes tear and my nose itch though!

  2. Yeah well...that's why the Lord invented photography! I am so happy that I am (knock wood) not prone to the allergies others suffer.

3.'ve captured an elusive creature with big yellow eyes in the second photo.
    awsome....I love spring.

  4. Beautiful!

Wouldn't fabric like that make a great old-fashioned flanned nighty?
