The Pacific Coliseum, the venue for some of the Olympic skating events, is the same place I saw a host of fantastic concerts, back in the day. Janis Joplin played there, and Led Zeppelin, Blind Faith and Rod Stewart, just off the top of my head.
We used to take the bus from where we lived in Kitsilano or the West End (depending on the year).
There is a lot of rock and roll haunting those rafters.
