Another Wife "Missing"

Look at this face! Does that remind you of anyone? Try Chris Coleman, Mark Hacking, Scott Peterson, Brad Cooper...the list goes on and on.

This man is Josh Powell, whose wife is missing. This article, http://www.deseretnews.com/article/705350711/West-Valley-police-neighbors-call-Susan-Powells-disappearance-suspicious.html?pg=1, states that he left the house around 12:30 AM Monday morning to take the couple's two little boys camping. Now, I ask you. Who loads up a two- and a four-year-old, just after midnight on a Sunday (Monday morning, technically), to go camping?

Uh huh. That was my thought, too. From the article:
When asked what was going through his mind on the fourth day since his wife's disappearance, he said it was "hard to concentrate," before going into detail about how he had placed cardboard in the broken window.
Can't talk about emotions...right...doesn't have any. Of course, it would be hard to concentrate after you've recently offed your wife and are still hoping you will get away with it.

My opinion, only, of course; the man has not been charged with anything, and the case is still a "missing person" case.

But I think that will change.

  1. I read about this yesterday and my first thought was, Oh wonderful, another wife killer. Who takes their 2 and 4 year old camping in December in a remote part of Utah? Camping, not going to a cabin, CAMPING.

Reminds me of fishing on Christmas Eve.

  5. I read on another blog that Susan's father is quoted as having seen a wet spot on the floor with fans trained on it to dry it. Worser and worser...
