Fluffy Egg Sandwich

A fluffy egg sandwich consists of an omelet served up between two slices of bread, with mustard. Period. I don't know what you call it if you add cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce, garlic butter, or anything else, but it is NOT a fluffy egg sandwich.

Just sayin'.

  1. HA - I am all about the mustard on egg sandwiches too. But I wouldnt eat it plain like that.

I am all about the Taylor Ham (local phenomenon here) egg & Cheese on a bagel or an english muffin. With mustard. Ketchup on eggs = gross. I prefer my eggs sunny side up or MAYBE over easy. Love runny yolk.

What is your take on poutine vs. disco fries :)

  2. Runny yolk + toast = yum.

Ham, egg and cheese on a bagel or muffin is wonderful, but that's a whole nother sandwich.

  3. Those last two things you mention? I have no clue what they are!

  4. Poutine is originated in Canada. French fries with beef gravy and cheese curds. NJ however claims to have perfected it. We use turkey gravy, mozzarella and bacon.

  5. I still eat French fries and brown gravy every once in a while...that was the snack of choice in high school...I don't think I could do the cheese on it, though.

  6. Haven't tried egg sandwich your way, will have to give it a go.
I like all my little add-ins: sweet pickle relish, tuna, mayo, and Pik-Nik's.
