Statue on the Texas Capitol grounds. I took this picture, and thought it was OK. I got to looking at it at home, and thought of a different angle.
So, I went back and took this one.
I'll tell you what...If I found myself with a prickly pear cactus that close to a sensitive portion of my anatomy, I'd probably look like that, too!

He's taming that 'ere horse, isn't he?
ReplyDeleteI don't think so. His attention is on something on the ground, not on the horse. I think he's chasing a calf, and has pulled the horse around really fast, and that's why the horse is leaping. The cactus is just a mechanical thing, really, for support of the weight.
