Drew Peterson Arrested!

Drew Peterson Arrested!

Drew Peterson Arrested!

So.

The arrogant, wife-murdering, teenage-girl-seducing bastard is behind bars tonight!

The world is a safer place.

$20 MILLION bail!

And, thanks to a new law, the Prosecution can petition the judge to admit Kathleen's statements to her sister that will implicate him, as well as Stacy's statements to the minister that Drew had confessed to her that he killed Kathleen.

  1. "I guess I should have returned those library books," a handcuffed Peterson, 55, told police as he was escorted out of his home, the Daily Herald reported.

Yeah you smug loser. Murdering a wife or two is the same as not returning library books. You'll have plenty of years to read those books in your cell, scum.

  2. I'll update after the presser if there's anything thrilling. Where is Rose when we need her?

  3. He just has to be all nonchalant and "witty," doesn't he?

  4. FINALLY!! I was going to send you an e-mail but you beat me to it!

I feel sorry for those kids though. They will most certainly be with family, but most certainly split up as well.

  5. Well, poo. It looks as if the national news channels are not covering the presser.

  6. Nothing thrilling, just a recap of the investigation. Except for one thing. Thanks to a new law, the Prosecution will be able to petition the judge to have Kathleen's writings admitted as evidence.

  7. "Peterson was arrested Thursday evening during a traffic stop in Bolingbrook, said Chuck Pelkie, spokesman for Will County state's attorney."

So, already the discrepancies begin in the news stories. Which was it? Escorted from his house in handcuffs, or arrested during a traffic stop?

  10. They still dont really have much of a case. His kid gave him an alibi, and she did die of drowning.

All the witnesses against him are heresy witnesses.

I sure hope he doesnt get away with it.

They cant use what other Katherine and Stacey said to other people.

  11. Yes, they can, Melissa. IL recently passed a law that states that they can, if the judge decides, in a pre-trial hearing, that it's evidential.

They have as much as they had to convict Scott Peterson, and that one went pretty well. At least they have a COD.

His actions when she was found point to COG. They can build a good circumstantial case, even if the kids did alibi him. You know he set that up with them, and the prosecution will make short work of it.

  12. That is already the problem. They seem to have created this law for them.

I hope it works, but I dont think so.
