Second Day of Competition

Last night, Ramona and I saw four more plays. Stony Point presented "The Imaginary Invalid," Georgetown, "The Good Woman of Setzuan," Cedar Park, "The Beggars' Opera," and Westwood, "The Importance of Being Ernest."

All were very entertaining, but I am thrilled that Stony Point advances, for the first time in a long time! Cedar Park is the other that goes on, and the judge told them their costumes were (and I quote) "masterful!"

(thankyouverymuch!)

Al Martinez, from Stony Point, got Best Actor, and Katherine Johnson, from Cedar Park, Best Actress.

So, on Friday, we will see, "Armitage," "Dearly Departed," "The Imaginary Invalid," and "The Beggars' Opera." Two of those will advance to the next round.

Congratulations to one and all, and many thanks for a wonderful evening!
