Cindy Writes a Eulogy

Caylee Marie Anthony has captivated the hearts of so many people over the course of the last several months. Many feel a great loss for a beautiful child that they never had the opportunity to meet. They quickly fell in love with her beauty and her charming ways, as she read a story to her ailing great-grandfather, whom she loved very much.

I didn't "fall in love" with "her beauty and her charming ways." I took one look at her lying skank of a mother and began to worry that something had happened to her.
For those who fell in love with Caylee Marie on national TV, their grief is only temporary, their hearts will soon mend, and their memory of her may eventually fade. But for those who actually had the honor to meet Caylee Marie, it will be much more difficult for them to say goodbye, and their hearts may never heal.

Well, aren't you just all up and knowing the hearts, minds and memories of thousands of people! Bless your heart! Never mind that you allowed Casey to whisk her out the door and didn't even try to find her until Casey's car turned up abandoned, a month later. Casey's car that was registered in your name. Never mind that you never asked any questions about the "nanny," never met her and had no contact information for her. Never mind that you parroted everything your daughter told you, knowing she is a thief and a liar.
On Aug. 9, 2005, God blessed this Earth with one of his most beautiful children. Caylee Marie was born at 7:14 a.m. in an Orlando hospital. From the moment she was born she forever stole the hearts of her family. Caylee was not only a beautiful baby, but she had a beautiful spirit that will live on in those that truly knew her and loved her.

Except, of course, the heart of her skanky mother. HER heart was filled with jealousy because YOU paid more attention to Caylee than you did to her.

She is survived by her mother, Casey Marie Anthony; her grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony; her uncle Lee Anthony; and her great-grandparents, Alex and Shirley Plesea and Ruth and Lee Anthony.

I think that the word "survived" here is a tad bit disingenuous.
Caylee's life will be honored in a memorial service open to the public Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Orlando beginning at 10 a.m.

Took you long enough. Who did you sell the film rights to?
The family is requesting that those with only the purest of hearts and truly honorable intentions attend the service for their beloved child. This service will be a tribute to her life and a time for her family and friends to finally be together to openly express and share their love for her.

Oh, "the family is requesting," are they? So we, the public are supposed to search our souls before entering the memorial, and each individual has to evaluate his or her reasons for being there? And please note that a "pure" heart is not enough. only the "PUREST" is good enough to attend this memorial to this child that you have left abandoned in a box at a funeral home for over a month. We have heard through the grapevine that Leonard Padilla...you know...the one who put up the money to bail your daughter out of jail...the one to whom she lied, saying she would tell all if she were out on bond..THAT Leonard Padilla is not welcome at the memorial. Neither is Tim Miller, whose heart is about as pure as a heart can get. Who else is on the "Do Not Admit" list for your "PUBLIC" memorial, Cindy? Woh! Edited to add that I just read a rumour that Mark Klaas, father of Polly Klaas, is also on the "disinvited" list.
The family is requesting, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 1900 Conway Gardens Road in Orlando; Orlando Rescue Mission; or Kid Finders Network.

So, here's the pitch. You want us to donate money to a DIFFERENT Baptist Church from the one you are using for your circus show? I'm not familiar with the Orlando rescue Mission, but Kid Finders is a scam organization founded by a felon. I guess like really does attract like, doesn't it, Cindy?
Because of Caylee, so many other children have been the recipient of the kindness and generosity from those who have donated on her behalf. Donations have been made to numerous organizations such as Toys for Tots, Shriners, St. Jude's Hospital, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Orlando Rescue Mission and Kid Finders Network.

Donations have also been made to Texas Equusearch, much as you don't like them. they are, after all, an organization that put a lot of time and money into the search for Caylee, and all Tim Miller got for it was abuse from you. What, exactly, did Kid Finders do, besides make and sell T-shirts and bracelets?
Another child will receive a new smile after receiving multiple reconstructive surgeries to repair a cleft palate.

Yup. I'm all for St Jude's!
Because of this outpouring of compassion, the family will continue to honor Caylee's memory by establishing the Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation. The foundation's purpose will be to continue to generate awareness for missing children and to establish programs to assist in the well-being of those children in need of comfort and support during difficult and stressful times.

Who is going to administer this foundation, Cindy? Perhaps your foundation would be of better service examining the causes of and trying to prevent the murder of children by those ordained by nature to protect and cherish them.

This shameless bid for money in a document that is supposed to be a EULOGY for your granddaughter is beyond sickening. Could you not have issued this "press release" separately?
Caylee's life may have been short-lived on this earth, but her life will not have ended without a purpose. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Caylee Marie Anthony now has her angel wings and will be watching over so many other children.

You know, I can kind of see wanting to gloss over the way Caylee died. However, I've learned enough about death to know that a person's death is a part of their life, and the manner of it is significant to understanding that life. Cindy, many of us are no longer prepared to follow your footsteps down to that great River of Denial. Her life was "short-lived" because Casey murdered her in cold blood, not because of some higher "purpose" intended by an all-knowing Supreme Being.

  1. I just found the entire thing completely bizarre and wildly inappropriate.

Not that I really expected anything that truly memorialized Caylee. Look at the author.

  2. I have been steaming ever since I first read it. It took me this long to calm down enough to write something not entirely filled with cuss words.

  3. Personally, I have a hard time with children's cases that end this way, it makes me hurt too much, so I try to stay away from even the news of them.

But how can you NOT know about Caylee! The media has made this case, and many others, a three ring circus with the help of all the clowns dancing to the right tune.

It's just so undignified and disrespectful to the little life that Caylee lived, it's been disrespectful of Tim Miller and the thousands of volunteers, and to the American public who allows themselves to be taken in time and time again.

I usually don't even comment about this case because it makes me want to retch.

  5. What's the scoop on Tim Miller? I guess I missed that part.

Tacky "eulogy" from a tacky grandma.

    Tacky is as tacky does.

I am surprised she didn't thank those who contribute to Casey's jail-house junkfood -- or are they still speaking?

Let's see how fast her grave is marked - and who pays for it. Will a Crispy Crunch take priority?

  6. Cindy called in Tim Miller and Equusearch, thinking that they would be searching for a "live" Caylee. When Tim insisted on searching on his own terms, Cindy withdrew support, and actually told people not to donate to Equusearch. She bad-mouthed him all over the place. I don't have the heart to dig back through the links for references to this, but if you punch Tim's name into the search at Scared Monkeys, you'll find a lot.

  7. Thnx, Ronni - I'll do that.

What a classy lot they are - NOT!

Once again--you have hit this spot-on. This reminds me of a disingenuous fake-minister pitch for his fake church!! Send me your feeble minded and/or money. UGH!!!

In my opinion, they should have had a private ceremony the minute it was possible and just left all of us out of it.

However, after reading your posting, I am definitely going to be watching Nancy Grace and find out how much of your sentiment she shares.

    Spot-on!!

  9. Nancy Grace apparently sees nothing wrong with Cindy's very strange actions. Either to secure the "in" at the memorial, or becuase, since Melinda Duckett, she's running a bit scared of lawsuits, Ms Grace has gone very easy on Cindy Anthony.

The very first time I saw Cindy on TV, I knew there was something wrong there. She refused to let the interviewer control the interview. Every time she has been interviewed, she has said something horrible...either telling the host how to run her show. or keeping a tight grip on George to make sure he toes the line, Cindy tried to control the entire situation.

  10. I can get mad at Casey. I however cannot get mad at Cindy.

Casey is HER baby, and I know there is no excuse. But I can understand in some way.

I DO though think she is nuts.

  11. I feel sorry for George. He didn't stand a chance trying to instill morals in his children. Obviously Cindy took charge in that household.

That poor precious little soul. How was it possible to be dead for a month with no-one being concerned enough to check on her wellbeing?
