Stuck in the 80s

David had an 80s party this evening. I got pictures of some of the guests. To anyone I missed, my sincere apologies. Here's a link to more pictures which I posted on MySpace.

We watched 80s videos, and made fun of the hair and clothes, while munching David's awesome (sorry, Nelly!) goodies.

People, the man makes his own sushi! How cool is that?

Thanks for the invitation, David! I had a lot of fun. I had no idea how much of the 80s I had missed. With Chandra born in 1977 and Vanessa in 1981, I was kind of busy, especially when I became a single mom in 1985. So, somehow the finer points of Billy Idol, Duran Duran and exercise videos (on VHS) completely passed me by.

By the way, check out David's blog here. He just started blogging, but I think he's going to have a lot to say. He's in my sidebar.

Looks like you had a great time. The dress was chic.

Tell me do you think blondes have more fun? lol
I actually like the big hair,I will NOT apologize for that either, I like what I like, and I like big hair! lol of course I was a teenager in the early eighties, guess that could be why!

Happy New Year, and as for the chocolates, when I feel better,I'll see about making you a few and sending them if you really would like them.

  3. I'd love them, Terri, but maybe better not. I have some pounds to lose this year, and, for that, I fear I must eschew chocolate...
