On the Road

Brendan checking the progress of the gas pump, somewhere in north east Texas.

I knew that Sheba's Family Restaurant was the best choice in Hope, Arkansas, when I noticed the tablecloths had ladybugs printed on them.

We got away around 9:00 AM, and by 6:30 PM we were in Hope, Arkansas, having supper. Very nice restaurant, by the way. I couldn't help but wonder if Bill Clinton ever ate there. It looks like it has been here a while! We are on our second tank of gas, having filled up just before leaving Round Rock, and adding 3/4 of a tank in north Texas.

Tomorrow, we press on to Little Rock and beyond.

Meant to add that, we were sitting in the restaurant, when Brendan's face went all funny, and he said, "Do you know what we forgot?" I said, "What?" He answered, "The baseball tickets!"

He was very relieved to hear that Mom remembered them!

Oh and I just had to tell you, after letting both of Eric's kids have it for their "indifference"(being kind in using this word)towards me,the youngest has decided I just might be someone he needs in his life! He even cam to see me today,ME!,just to see how I was doing and gave me a hug when he left! He's been doing that everytime he sees me now! I want to trust in this change...scared to though, you know?
