CNN Obituary for George Carlin
I loved the Hippie Dippy Weatherman on Rowan and Martin's "Laugh-In."
I loved the "Seven Famous Words."
I loved the hilarious rants about his Catholic school education. I had a few years of that, and could relate (Sister Mary Discipline).
Most of all, I loved the way he thought. He loved the English language and delighted in pointing out its inconsistencies, idiosyncrasies, paradoxes, anomalies, oxymorons and other interesting features.
He was a voice of sanity on a crazy world.
Bye, George...see you later. On the roof.
I am so bummed. I love that guy.
