Great pictures, I like yours and the ones from the prom too. Memories from both. The "Aw, Mom" pictures and the ones in front of his buddies at the prom. TWO dates!? I sure wish I had thought of this when I was in highschool. My best girlfriend and I shared a third best gay guyfriend. I asked him to the prom first, which I think she never completely forgave me for. We were all so avant-garde, even then, that if we had thought a "three-way" was OK at the prom we would have done it in a heartbeat! Haha. I made my dress, and it was black and silky with a red poppy print on it that said "coquelicot" all over it (French for Poppies) and I wore my hair in a bun with a big red tropical flower on one side, sort of a Dorothy Lamour look. Larry didn't wear anything like a tux that every other guy wore in the mid-seventies. He wore a white panama suit, open shirt, and a straw Panama hat and thong sandals that were covered with some of my black and red dress fabric. He later went to NYC and became a fashion designer of men's shirts for a while, but now he's doing occupational therapy and has a great life on the beach in Long Island. Gene and I usually stay with him for a day or two when we visit Will.
Well isnt he the handsome one with TWO dates!
ReplyDeleteSooooo handsome!
ReplyDeleteYou did good, Ronni. What a handsome boy. Hope he enjoys the prom. His two "dates" are lucky girls indeed. And they look beautiful.

ReplyDeleteYou must feel very proud, Ronni. Not many teenagers turn out like Brendan. We are still holding thumbs for our boy, doing the best we can.
ReplyDeleteYou have done a great job. Well done!
