Is It a Visit?

I dreamed of Jim last night. That doesn't happen as often as I thought it would. It was this morning, actually, right before I awoke. He was wearing a new shirt; a polo shirt with wide horizontal bands in light and bright turquoise blue. He pursed his lips disapprovingly at the changes in the house, and was holding a cup and stirring it with a spoon. Without tasting it, he said "This is too sweet."

And then, I woke up.

In life, Jim did not put sugar in anything.

  2. Maybe he likes that I donated his stuff to the organ and tissue center. He had always said that he wanted to do that, so, of course I did it.

  3. Because now he lives on. Even though he will always live on in your heart, now he ACTUALLY lives on in someone else.

Someone saved a life tonight, Sugar Bear...

(I think thats the way it goes)

  4. A forgotten snatch of song lyrics? Could well be...

    Elton John, right?

  5. Ronni you know how much trouble Jim had listening to someone tell him how wonderful he was; particularily when he didn't think he had done anything.
Could that have anything to do with something being too sweet. Betty

  6. Well, it's not as if I've been starting the Saint Jim club! I've been busy ripping him a new one ever since he did the deed.

  7. Definitely Sir Elton, if I got it right is left to you.

Thats how I always heard them.

Then again, I always heard Bad Moon on the Rise as "There's a Bathroom on the Right"

  8. No Dear I was not talking about you making him a saint. I was talking about Jim's reaction to the thank you for the skin donation.

  9. OK. Well, that makes sense!

  10. Any & all tissue/organ donations are a true gift.

Imagine if Jim's corneas gave Ryan sight -- awesome!

BTW, your pics in the park reminded me that the "north of the tundra folks" must wait another few months to see our trees begin to bloom. My tulips just peeked their heads through the snow yesterday. My crocuses (I always thought the plural was croci) haven't made it through yet.

I can, however, take some "chilling" pics of the ice bergs that pack the bay.
