Saturday was my first counselling appointment. I like the counsellor, and told her my whole sad story, complete with anger and angst. Good thing she had kleenex!
She says my feelings are normal. I'd hate to see abnormal...
Last night, Ramona and I drove to Fredericksburg to see "Amadeus," which we costumed for them. As it was the first time we had done that show, we wanted to see how it all worked.
I was a bit boggled. They have a new space, seating about 300 or so, with very comfortable new seats. The theater smelled like a new car.
The show was excellent. There's a lot of talent in them thar hills! The mayor of Fredericksburg played Salieri, and what a magnificent job he did! I walked out of there muttering, "Brilliant!" and haven't really stopped since.
It must feel wonderful to have been such a huge part of that play.
ReplyDeleteYour costuming talents are going to make you famous.
I hope you're given proper credit for your work. You GO, girlfriend!
I'm so glad you had an enjoyable evening out. I would imagine Amadeus was a lot of fun to costume, too.
ReplyDeleteMorning, Ronni. Pictures please! When you get time, of course.
ReplyDeleteI hope you managed to take time to enjoy the show, while critiquing your work (I'm joking here).
Great that you got a night out and a little break. Some 'normal' time.
