What! Like you don't have enough to take care of! Guess who will be feeding it, walking it, and cleaning up after it?
You, that's who!
You know that.
Personally, I'd start off with a lower-maintenance pet, like a goldfish or something.
Sam Bass? What about it? It seems to be still standing, though the ticket booth is listing to the right...apparently, their city funding got cut off because the theater is supposed to keep track of the zip codes of patrons, and submit them to the city, so they can see how many patrons are from out of town, and might be using a hotel or something, and those numbers were not presented to the city.
SUMbody has been shirking their duty. Could it be? Would it be?
The NEW House Manager?
I'm still ticked...
But, you're right--it is a relief to not have them breathing down my throat.
Is there anyone in the group who might enjoy getting a dig in over there?
Pompous bastard!
Pity about the theatre, but, I love it when a plan comes together. Bwaha!
About the dog...I've made them promise from the length, breadth and height of their souls, that they will not expect me to do more than I am doing, now. Yeah, right!
OMG, that precious girl! She is still having to endure more than her fair share.
ReplyDeleteHer mother sounds like a wonderful person. What a long haul this has been.
Mornin'! Heather sounds like she is stretched as far as she can go. I don't know how she does it...
ReplyDeleteBeen meaning to ask....how are you getting on without old Sam Bass, Ronni?
ReplyDeleteBet you STILL don't have time to scratch yourself. LOL
BTW, we are getting a dog (grandson is desperate for a pet). I'm as nervous as a new mother.

I would like to wish you all the best of luck with the dog.
ReplyDeleteThe theater? Eh. Not so much...
I'm so glad that Jasmine's doing well! PT is so hard but so worth it to regain range of motion.
ReplyDeleteMy scarf is off to her mom. What an incredible source of strength. I wish them success by leaps and bounds!
