Denouement

I blocked the toughest part of the show tonight. This is "All My Sons," of which I speak, here. I'm talking about the scene between Joe and his son, Chris, when Chris finds out that his father really was responsible for sending out faulty engine parts that caused the deaths of twenty-one pilots in the war.

Boy, is he pissed!

God knows what demon convinced me I could take on Arthur Miller for my first foray into directing a mainstage play.

It seemed like a good idea at the time. Simple play, one set, small cast. It is topical--about wartime profiteering--so I thought it was the right time for it.

We'll see.

I'm all of a sudden getting nervous about this project.

Such a good time to do that!

I must be seventeen different kinds of idiot to think I can direct this!

Fortunately, I have a really good cast. Hopefully, my efforts will be worthy of them.

  1. I think you'll do a great job directing, Ronni. Goodness, you know every aspect of the theater by now.
