Even the Notorious Shop at Walmart

I went to Walmart. The HEB was out of parsley; what can I say! do you want stuffing, or not?

So, I'm in the Kitchen Gadgets aisle, looking for skewers. Didn't find those, either. Never mind. I have a staple gun.

So, anyway, I'm there, blocking traffic in the Kitchen Gadgets aisle, when this woman pushes her cart down past me. She looks at me and says, "You look familiar." I said, "You do, too." I was about to start the whole list of places where she could have seen me (it gets longer every year), when she said, "Weren't you in a play at the Sam Bass Theater, recently?"

I said, "Yes, yes I was."

"It was awesome," she said. "You were awesome."

I was so tickled, I ran into a display of glass measuring cups. Fortunately, disaster was averted. That'll teach me to get all flattered!

Round Rock is still a small town.

  7. Morning, Ronni. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

Suppose, it is nice having a family who get on with each other.

Christmas will be good for us this year. We are going to the home of my best friend instead of my ex-SIL whom I have kicked into touch, along with her off-spring. I feel relieved. We should be gone for the whole week.
