Chandra's education in Jewelry design includes some classes in jewelry repair. She asked me if I had any broken bits she could use, and I found this lovely Art Deco rose gold setting. It was one of Addy's, and one of very few that had no note in the box with it. Therefore, we have no idea which family member owned and wore it, or what kind of stone it originally had.
Chandra put a lab garnet in it and sized it to fit me. I can wear it on my index or second finger, or my thumb. The pics really don't do justice to the colour of the stone, but it's the best I can do with my pixelly-challenged camera.
What a beautiful ring. I love the color of the stone.
