Two bloggers and a very small news story can say so much more than I about this.
You are looking into the eyes of a man who molested and killed a 10-year-old girl. He is alive because of a plea bargain. He is tattooed because one of the child's relatives happened to be incarcerated in the same facility.
I think that's better than killing him.
This is the best argument I've seen against the death penalty. He was given Life, and was in the general population. If he'd been on Death Row, he would have been unavailable for beautification.

ReplyDeleteHe asked for life in prison.
Great idea! Hard to hide THAT.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link, and for mentioning this story.
ReplyDeleteLilo, I love this story. Thank you for writing it!
ReplyDeleteAll hail cruel and unusual punishment. That should be something our justice system does automatically, not something someone has to take into their own hands.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Nessa!
