My New Computer

Some of my friends have expressed an interest in seeing my new computer, so here it is. Is it not a lovely thing?

To recap, my old puter, from Fry's, several years ago, croaked. For several days, I could read, but not post anything anywhere, as it would freeze. It gradually got worse, to the point where it would freeze somewhere in the rebooting process, and I would be looking for the X on the side that indicated where to kick it.

I made several entries from my daughter's computer (http://I-still-have-no-clue.blogspot.com/), but can't sit at her house all my spare hours.

Finding a couple of messages on my phone from Loretta (http://www.misfitting.com/), I contacted her. She told me that a collection had been taken up by my online friends (you guys know who you are--I have only the haziest idea) to purchase this wonderful brand new Dell for me.

I was, and still am, awed that my friends think so much of me that they would do this.

Some of them I have met and visited in real life. Many of them I have not.
