Jasmine

When my computer recovers from it's current illness, I'm going to post some pictures of Jasmine. Vanessa saw her MRI today, and it looks as if the entire femur is affected. Jasmine and her mother are off to Houston tomorrow for a full-body MRI.

She would have been there already, except that the paperwork was mistakenly sent to the adult department, instead of pediatric. It has to be returned to her pediatrician and resent. Don't ask me why. If this child's leg is to be saved, time is important.

There is a Lance Armstrong Foundation walk on Oct 8th, and we are sponsoring "Team Jazz" to help raise funds for the organization that is going to help Jasmine's family get through this. I will post more info on this as soon as I have it.

  1. Poor thing! She looks like such a sweet girl! Let us know more as you find out, ok? Oh, and thank you for stopping in on my cousin's blog! :)

  2. I tried hard not to mention the word "birthday!" LOL!

Jasmine is a wonderful little kid, and we are very concerned.

I will definitely be posting info about the walk, and about how she's doing.

  4. Morning Ronni!

This is a terribly sad thing to happen.

Please let me know if there is a fund for Jazz, as I would like to contribute.

  5. Mike came up with the idea for the Lance Armstrong Walk. As I understand, the Foundation is going to help Jasmine's family, so any fund-raising we do will be donated to the Foundation. I will post more details as I get them.

  6. Ronni,

I have put Jasmine on my prayer list.

If you like I can pass it on to my prayer team too.

    Love and Light,
    Fireberry J...

  7. Please, Fireberry J.

We need all the help we can get. If there is a special prayer for cutting through red tape and making the paperwork go smoothly, that might help as well.

  8. Take it to your local media, Ronni. You will be surprised how quickly things can get done, once the public is aware of the need to be involved.

This is such a good cause, you need to draw enough attention, so that the red tape people get off their butts.
