The Third First United Methodist Church

Will you get a load of this! Yes, this is THE church in Round Rock, right now. It is huge, and has so many nooks, crannies, and angles that I had to walk all around it, snapping pictures all the way.

El Greco would have had a ball with this one, wouldn't he? I'd love to see it from the inside. Unfortunately, there was no nice lady there this evening, like Ruby at St. John's. It has a lot of modern stained glass windows--the ones that are not leaded, but made in one continuous pane.

No offense intended to any United Methodists out there, but I think it looks pretentious.

John Wesley would have had a fit!
