Patch #5

I stuck patch #5 on my upper arm this morning, and went off to work on the set for "Black Coffee." I picked up and took home a member of the Youth Guild, so she could help with the work day. Due to gas prices, I was driving Minnie Miata, so a good time was had by all. Husband installed a couple of doors and a window on the set, and I stripped gold paint off a couple of tables, and re-stained them.

Note to other theaters: it's not nice to borrow stained wood tables, and return them painted gold. If we had wanted them gold, they would have been gold when you borrowed them. (Duh!)

Anyway, I only sighed for a cigarette about 20 times today. That's down from about 35 yesterday. And, I only cried once, and didn't yell at anybody.

Things are looking up.

Although, I'd like one right now. Sigh...

I'll just have a Nice Cup of Tea

  1. Hang in there, Vero. You're my inspiration to do the same, but I haven't yet taken the plunge.

  2. Martin has had two Miatas. One he raced and won a championship in. FUN cars, very fun! And they sip gas.

  3. Unlike Burbie, which chugs! If they had a gas-chugging contest, Burbie would win, hands down! Freakin' 40 gallon tank!
