Steel Magnolias
Steel Magnolias is over. Actually, it has been over for a week, and I've been ignoring that.
It was a remarkable experience, to say the least. The cast was so talented and supportive...I felt that we really did form the type of sisterhood that the characters shared. Of course, we are a much more diverse group than the ladies of Chinquapin Parish.
The story is so sad. I cried almost every show. All I had to do was to think of how I would feel if I were sitting there with my daughter while the machines were shut off. Cathie Sheridan's superb acting in the role of M'Lynn made it all so easy...
The picture above is from the end of Act I.
The photographer took some costume shots, and I expect to receive those very soon.

It was an amazing show. All the actors were terrific. Cathy had everyone crying. It was impossible not to feel empathy for her character, she was such a good actress. Ronni you were perfect! I always enjoy seeing you on stage! Thanks for the wonderful performance...
