Three Weeks!

It's three weeks till the show opens. I'm in a major panic about the set, and the lights, but not about the show itself.

Let's see...for the first few weeks we didn't have one of the actors. Others have been sporadically missing. We have had maybe two rehearsals with everyone there. In spite of that, and in spite of being dark over Christmas, the show already has some really nice scenes.

We will have to take some publicity shots on Tuesday, so I'll put some up then. Costumes are being made, and I've been trolling at work for things to rent. I'll measure the guys on Monday, and start finding their costumes. Melissa, bless her heart, is doing a lot of the sewing of the women's dresses, and Lynn is making hats.

I have Tracie, who is an artist, on board to do the greenery wall, and the set will not be difficult to build, it's just finding people to do it. Michael and Jim can supervise, but they are both "old guys" at this point, and can't be trusted not to throw their backs out, or do some other sort of damage trying to do stuff that they used to do 30 years ago.

The person (Rob) who promised to design my lights is MIA, also.

Oh, well. So we go on with nothing but general lighting and no set. If that happens, I'll just paint the walls to look like a house, and we'll all have to use more imagination.

Right.
