Overwhelmed!

...On all fronts!

I SO want to be spending some time with Vanessa, now that she is home with Ethan.

But...

My show opens a week from today, and extra rehearsals are needed to make up for the three we lost due to the weather. Not to mention that the set needs some hours of work. And the costumes are not yet ready. And, one cast member is in Houston with her students for a competition. Last night we got a Bert for the first time, and he has hair down to his shoulders. My Stage Manager is in New York for the week. My lighting designer is MIA. The building has settled, and it now takes The Incredible Hulk to slip the bolt on the side stage door. And we are not even going to the "lines" place.

And...

The costumes for "Oliver" go out a week from tomorrow. Big cast. Lots of rags. Being designed with an incomplete cast list and measurements. And the heater in the costume shop can't keep up with this cold!

Housework is piling up.

And now...

I hear on the TeeBee that stress causes brain damage.
