Vanessa Cooked

I should have taken my camera. I wish you could have actually seen the food that Vanessa fixed for Christmas brunch.

She baked a 9 lb ham, for a start, and made sausage gravy to have with biscuits. She also served croissants. There was a French Toast casserole that was almost too pretty to hack into (but not quite), and a Hash Brown casserole that was to die for.

As if that weren't enough, she made a Peanut Butter Cup cheesecake. She says that the recipe for that is going to be a family secret, but she combined recipes for several different things to produce it. It looked and tasted like a Peanut Butter Cup, with the added richness of cheesecake.

I'm going to have to mount a raid on her house for leftovers!
