"A Friend Like Me..."

I've just seen Sam Bass Theater's production of "Aladdin Jr."

It was great! There were a few little glitches, late sound cues, missed entrances, etc. The age range of the actors is from pre-schoolers to high school seniors. I am continually amazed and delighted at what the kids can do. They had very good voices in the principal roles, and in many of the smaller ones. The ensemble sounded great, the dances, though simple, were evocative. The costumes were fantastic!

Congratulations to Tara Harris, the director, Angie Day, choreographer, Lisa Feazell, musical director, Ruth Jennings, costume designer, and the entire cast and crew!

I will have pictures.
