Memorial Day started as Decoration Day right after the Civil War. The name changed after World War I. The War the End All Wars. Remember that?
Sometimes I think that war is the natural state of humanity. Fighting has been going on somewhere for my whole life. My grandfather was in the British Army in WW I. My dad was in the RAF in WW II. My husband was ineligible for Viet Nam because of a blood pressure issue.
Where will they want to send my son?

I haven't checked in there for a while. Last I heard, they were threatening Loretta with the Eff Bee Eye for some imagined offense or other.
