For starters, here's my Halloween costume this year. I didn't put a whole lot of effort into it, but it was warm on a chilly night, and comfortable, and washable, and included a blankie (which I left behind at the party) (sorry, Andy and Renee).
I have had to budget my time very carefully, because we are still working six day weeks, and I have rehearsals almost every evening for "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever." I had to build Ben's coat this past weekend, as he needs it next Saturday. Fortunately, I cancelled rehearsal Halloween night, due to the sugar factor, so I had all day Sunday, and Monday evening, and got it done. It needs some tweaking, but that will have to wait.
The show is coming along, but I still need a Ralph for two of the three Saturday matinees. I had not realized we were going to have Saturday matinees until last week, and cast a Ralph who works Saturdays. So he needs an understudy willing to rehearse with us a couple of evenings a week and perform twice. Interested? Let me know.
I've finally figured out how to maintain my walking while taking Frank to work...I can arrive early at his apartment complex, and walk there. There's a wonderful steep hill that is almost as good as the Mt. Bonnell steps.
So, I've not been doing anything thrilling, like driving to Amarillo, or attending Occupy Austin, or even reading. Not to mention blogging. However, I'm still here and still having fun.
What a cute costume! I love it! :)
