Aidan at the Water Park

The water park is Round Rock's best kept secret. It has been open for several years, but I only heard of it recently. It's small, but very nice, with two slides, one of which is enclosed, and a little creek you can just float around on the current, with or without a tube. It costs $3 to get in if you're over 12, and $2, younger than that. It's basically a City Pool, but it has lots of bells and whistles. On a Monday, we got a shady seat under an umbrella right away, and we got there around 1:30. On weekends, I imagine going earlier would be a good thing. It opens at 10:00 AM. It's on the west side of Old Settlers' Park, so if you enter from Hwy 79, by the Dell Diamond, it's on your left, about half a mile into the park. It probably will go to weekends only after school starts, and close entirely after Labour Day.

  1. Ouch! Aiden needs a spongy thing mat for sliding down.

I have been at water parks, and let me tell you. Losing your sponge mat HURTS!

    Otherwise they are totally fun.
