Out to Lunch

A couple of years ago, Ramona and I travelled to Brownwood to see "Oklahoma," which we costumed for their community theater. On the way back, we stopped at a little restaurant just this side of Lampasas and enjoyed an excellent meal. Last week, out for a drive, I decided to see if I could find it again. Of course, I couldn't remember the name. Here it is. The Yumm Factory. How could I forget that?

Its interior has been redecorated, with an increased rustification since I was there last,

but the food is just as good. This is a shot of the all-you-can-eat catfish buffet that was going on while I was there, and it looked...well...yummy, but I had liver and onions.

I don't think I'd try complaining, but there was no need to. The service was great, the staff, friendly, the food, excellent.

So, the next time you find yourself headed for Lampasas, drop in at the Yumm Factory. It's worth the drive.
