Vertigo

On the third floor gallery of the Texas Capitol, looking down to the mosaic on the main floor.

I never used to be subject to vertigo, but I was when getting this shot. Is this an age thing, a hormone thing, or some other weirdness?

  1. Holy shit, that gives me vertigo just looking at it!

I almost puked when we went to the CN Tower in Canada and Margaret was leading people onto the glass floor and dancing around with them.

  2. Yeah, I kinda almost puked too. I know the feeling. The last building I worked at was built like that. And although I was only on the third floor I couldnt look down.

Worst time (and I did actually puke) was at the top of the World Trade Center and that was in my 20's. I have always been afraid of heights though. Not going up mind you.

When I was a child I would drive my mother nuts. Always climbing trees and then crying because I was afraid to come down lol.

  4. I scrambled up the dome of Mt. Emory and had to be talked down. There were a lot of ladybugs flying around up there.

  6. BTW, Driver, where is the discussion about Coleman? I lost the story at STL, and need my fix of GooeyButterCake!

  7. I'd want to yell something silly to the people on the first floor to hear the echo. It has to echo, right?
