News14Carolina there's a video link--just click on the little camera.
There are people on the crime message boards who would have you think this is a cold case, but, judging from that interview with the Sheriff, that is not the opinion held by the police.
Captivated by Michelle Young's beautiful smile, and horrified by the way she died and the way her daughter was left to wander the house for hours, alone, a group of people arranged this little memorial. They found out that Michelle loved ladybugs, and the idea of releasing some in her honour started to take hold. Not as ostentatious as releasing butterflies, and certainly beneficial to the environment, the idea seemed fitting.
So the space was reserved, donations assembled to purchase the ladybugs, activities organized, including building a ladybug photo frame, bean toss, and pin-the-spot game. A lovely girl did face painting. Kids could make ladybug thumb-print pictures. Signs and banners were printed. Small ladybug souvenirs were given away.
Michelle's family members were there. The investigators were there. Her best friend from her workplace was there.
Question: Where were her husband and daughter?

With a nickname like booty boy, I can just imagine where he was (rolling eyes)
ReplyDeleteWell, Spring, hopefully he was giving his mother and daughter a lovely weekend. Lord knows, his mother has been running interference for him for a long time, and his daughter, forever motherless, needs all the support he can give her.
ReplyDeleteI remember feeling so enraged when I read about Michelle's death. Obviously, they couldn't catch him out on GPS, I was hoping they would.
ReplyDeleteThis was a premeditated murder. He had to come back to the house to kill her. POS!
This guy was, for a while, a salesman of medical technology. He is much more tech-savvy that Scott Peterson, and it seems he may have shut off his phone, knowing he could be tracked by it if it was on.
ReplyDeleteThey were still serving search warrants on him in February, so GPS must not have cleared him.
