A lucky shot.
I came to the kitten box and saw that Lolly was taking a break. I was poised to take a shot of the kittens, and then started to pull back when she hopped in. Then she did that, and I snapped at the right moment.
Usually, she licks them, feeds them, and protects them, but this gesture is pure affection.
Now, that's what love looks like.
ReplyDeleteSpotty tummies. What's not to love?
ReplyDeleteThe spotty tummies are exactly what I was going to comment about!! How cute is that?
ReplyDeleteI have never had kittens. Do they have anything like puppy breath?
They don't pant, so I don't know.
ReplyDeleteBut they do cute things with tickle whiskers and purrs.
Hope you find some peace this weekend, Ronni. I'm off home now. Ciao!
ReplyDeleteWith puppies, you kind of stick your nose in there because you know it's there! hahahaha Yes, I'm weird :)
ReplyDeleteIts so hard to give them away. Lolly will be giving you traitor looks for weeks afterwards.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet picture...love the little kitten paw sticking up!
ReplyDeleteThey are cute as can be, but do your kitties a favor and get them spayed and neutered. There are low cost clinics for this.
ReplyDeleteI know that...all my other cats have been fixed. However, if you've read here at all, you'll know that my life has been turned upside down within the past year, and the little matter of getting Lolly spayed has slipped my mind.
ReplyDeleteShe will be fixed soon.
Perhaps, in light of my husband's suicide, I could be forgiven?
What a precious picture Ronni! Such pure love is always a joy to see. Hope your weekend is good!
ReplyDeleteYou are so polite Ronni.
ReplyDeleteI have deleted so many comments to anonymous since I read that this afternoon it isnt even funny.
Think Jersey lol
You should have seen what I deleted!
ReplyDelete"Fardling idiot" was part of it.
Well then, I should have let them stand.
ReplyDeleteVulgarity is my specialty however, and didn't want to taint your blog.
I call 'em like I see 'em, Melissa. I try to avoid gratuitous vulgarity, but when it's heartfelt, it's OK.
