This is the corner of Commerce and, I think, Industrial. The Fire Station is to the left, and across the street to the right is the Williamson County Annex.
This is the same corner, looking in the same direction, in the early 1980s.
A little extra cash always comes in handy, Ronni. I may have to start working a couple of Sundays to put towards my trip to Spain.
I still have to find money for my Passport renewal, which I should have ordered by now. It never ends, does it?
Every year I we keep promising ourselves a holiday, so this year we just went ahead and booked it. My daughter has paid for the flights. Now she is saving for the accommodation and all I need to save is the spending money. Quite a good deal, huh?
My Uncle's ashes were scattered in the Clyde River. I didn't know that was allowed but it obviously is.
I suppose that will be the last thing you will do for Jim, to carry out his final wish. I hate to think that my daughter might be the only one to do that for me. She will move mountains to do as I ask, though. She has a very gutsy spirit.

ReplyDeleteI am working my no-work day. We have "Bye Bye Birdie" going out tomorrow, and it is HUGE!
That's a lot of petticoats.

True.
ReplyDeleteWe are taking some of July and going to Virginia to scatter Jim's ashes, and making side trips to Gettysburg and Philadelphia.

To scatter where we are going to is NOT allowed. We are going to do it anyway.
